Acacia Fraternity of Syracuse

On September 8th, 2007, the group 5AM consisting of Bros. Matt Haggerty, Derek Li, Charles Cutshall, Marcus Lee, and Rob Smith performed the seminal O-Town classic “All Or Nothing” as their contribution to the Greek Week Talent Show that was held in Goldstein Auditorium. The brothers rehearsed for the entire weekend before, and the preformance was a smash, garnering screams and cheers from the other greek organizations that were in attendance. At 7PM, the evening was complete as 5AM (5 Acacia Men) won 1st place out of all IFC fraternities that participated in the talent show. While Bro. Cutshall was so enthusiastic that he sustained a non-critical injury after leaping from the rafters, nothing could put a damper on the glorious moment that the Acacia Fraternity brothers felt. The Greek Week Talent Show win and our previous 2nd place standing at the Greek Week Olympics are helping to build buzz around and within our chapter leading up to fall rush. The talent show win was a moment of pure, unadulterated joy, and was one that is sure to be remembered by the brotherhood for years to come.
