…..Midnight snack (sorry Bonesaw)…..

What happens when amidst pain and suffering, under the canopy of darkness, you have a hunger attack? Well, whatever you do don’t ask Bonesaw. Scrolled across his pizza cardboard six times was his name. Now all that remains of such a container is the box.

After a gut wrenching conversation about pain and loss this past Friday Morning, Bro. Li and Bro. Alvarado, headed to the refrigerator for anything. When the door was drawn, bathed in the angelic light of the fridge… was the pizza. Once the aroma left its cold prison and entered the stale kitchen air, turning back was no longer an option. At this point, all the brothers could do was hope that the “Saw” could find it somewhere in his cold steel heart to forgive.

Knowing that recently, Bro. Rennert had committed a similar offense, Li and Alvarado, awoke Jordan from his beauty rest at approximately 3AM. “This is very wrong,” Rennert immediately said, having experienced the consequences of Bonesaw’s rage the previous Thursday. “I want no part in this misdemeanor. That’s blood pizza!”

Bro. Rennert tried to resist the pepperoni temptation, but the peer pressure was too great.

“Golgatha, Golgatha, Golgatha,” Joseph was shouting! But we all know the powers of fraternal peer pressure, and it is no surprise that the impetuous Rennert buckled. “I only had one bite, but it was fan-tas-tic.”

“What the hell was he thinking? You do not leave one big box with two slices of pizza in a fraternity house!” To further justify such a treasonous position, Li continued. “He wants us to take it. If it was not the case, Bonesaw would have taken the pizza home, where he could have dined by candlelight with those closest to him.”

Formerly opposed to such an outlandish idea, Brother Alvarado, who was recently knighted by Hecht, reaped the rewards of placing Jason’s final slice of pizza in aluminum foil, agreed. Jordan agreed. As he devoured Bonesaw’s last piece of pizza Jordan could be heard saying, “I’m going to have to get an extra job to pay for those hospital bills that shall be arriving shortly.”

Also, Halverson ate one of Rob’s lunchables. He’s not sorry. It was a delicious return to 1992.

Derek’s Colts defeats Dhaval’s Bears while Ben supplies the meat.

Derek and Jina celebrate their Super Bowl victory.

Acacia’s first annual Super Bowl Party was a great success. Derek’s team took it home, vindicating the rest of the house having tolerated his smelly Peyton Manning jersey which he obnoxiously wore every day over the 2 previous weeks.

It wasn’t just watching the game with chips and salsa (delicious salsa, thanks Tostitos), but rather a satiating affair, as Bro. Peskin supplied somewhere around 46 lbs of deli meat for the brothers to consume (…hmm, more like 8 pounds… we report, you decide).

It truly was a carnal affair and it even got a bit rough. Check out this short video to better understand the zaniness that ensued.

2nd Chapter Meeting in the bag along with a clean house

637, 634 and 635 forming the Acacia “A” sign with their shovels.

After the completion of the semester’s 2nd chapter meeting, the Acacia house finally returned to its normal glorious state when jobs were delegated to clear the snow out of the driveway in order to return the house to its normal condition where floors sparkle and the counter tops sing. Special thanks are in order to Bro. Bonesaw Hecht who went the extra mile and personally put the words spic and span into both the kitchen floor and downstairs bathroom with some old fashion Acacian elbow grease. Bro. Santoro also worked really hard shoveling and cleaning. When you see these fine gents lollygagging around campus, make sure to give them a hardy Huzzah. Respect all around.
